Log-asymptotic in some complex and real Schubert-type enumerative problems: from lines to 3-subspaces   25 June 2014

In a recent paper with V.Kharlamov, we observed ``abundance'' property for the number of real lines on real algebraic hypersurfaces. Namely, we found that asymptotically (with respect to degree of the hypersurfaces) on the logarithmic scale, such ``real'' count is estimated from below by the half of the corresponding ``complex'' count. A sequel of this work (still in progress) concerns a similar log-asymptotic estimates in some other enumeration problems, in particular, in the ones related to counting the 3-subspaces on hypersurfaces.
